A 20-year-old man, Abubakar Haruna, has been remanded in Katsina prison for allegedly attempting to kill his father over a misunderstanding.
The accused allegedly attacked his father, Haruna Ilele, with a stick “with the intent to kill him”.
Also remanded along with Haruna were Tukur Mani, 25, of Gazarwa village; Ibrahim Mohammed,18, of Leletu village; and Sani Idi, 25, of Yarsanta village.
The defendants will be in the prison custody till November 19, 2018, when their case would come up for mention before Hajiya Fadile Dikko of the Katsina Senior Magistrates’ Court.
