The United Arabs Emirates (UAE) has prolonged the ban on Nigerian flights until March 20.
An announcement, titled: “Replace on flights to/from Nigeria to Dubai till March 20”, 2021, by an Emirates spokesperson in Lagos, mentioned passengers from each Abuja and Lagos won’t be accepted for journey previous to or together with this date.
“In keeping with authorities directives, passenger providers from Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) to Dubai are quickly suspended till March 20, 2021.
“Clients from each Abuja and Lagos won’t be accepted for journey previous to or together with this date. Passengers who’ve been to or related by means of Nigeria within the final 14 days will not be allowed entry into the UAE (whether or not terminating in or connecting by means of Dubai),” the airline mentioned.
It added that Emirates flights from Dubai to Lagos and Abuja will proceed to function as per the conventional schedule.
“We remorse the inconvenience brought on and affected clients ought to contact their reserving agent or Emirates name centre for rebooking.”
